Open now is our newest Vacation Cottage inspired by the amazing lakes and fishing spots in Calaveras County. Recreational swimming and cooking trout by a campfire were popular Calaveras activities enjoyed by the earliest arrivals from the gold rush of the 1840's. Building on this tradition (and the fact that we had a bunch of unused fishing decoration from one of our lake properties), we decided to dedicate one of the Murphys Wine Cottages to Lake Tulloch, New Melones, and the various nearby streams.

with a "fishing" theme, the cottage is comfortable with a bedroom, bath and living room The cottage boasts its own private porch, sitting garden, and parking space. The cottage has a small kitchenette with pots, pans, coffee pot, microwave, fridge, linens, and a tv with dvd player. We offer a comfortable cabin that we hope you will enjoy.

so, the prices are low to get this started and build our clientele We have been operating vacation rentals in the area for 15 years and operate Calaveras County's largest rental serving several hundred guests per year. When we are done with this project it will be an exciting new place to visit and will be a destination of its own.
