We offer glamping at four individual camps on our family estate, set on the borders of England and Wales along the Wye Valley. A member of our friendly team is always available to contact during your stay. Riverside Lodge is set on the River Wye, complete with a spacious outdoor cooking and dining area and hot tub nearby. We offer comfortable beds, cosy sitting room, a huge outdoor deck and sitting area with views over the river and surrounding fields. Lunch or dine by the pizza oven or fire pit and relax in the hot tub to gaze at the stars. Mrs Higgs' Lodge will make you feel like you have stepped back in time. Built in 1835 as a hunting lodge, this charming little stone house was last occupied by Mrs Higgs 60 years ago. Since then, the forest slowly reclaimed it. It now provides a perfect retreat for from modern life and an experience of a bygone lifestyle. Heating throughout is from wood burning stoves only, however a few concessions to modernity such as a gas stove, instant hot water and a flushing loo. There is also a wonderful hot tub right next to the cottage which guests can use in total privacy. The General's Hideout is themed as a private 'barracks', yet offers complete comfort. Get back to nature, and escape your hectic lifestyles, follow the trails through the woods and shower in an 'air raid shelter'. This camp has two canvas tents for sleeping - with one having a living area and indoor kitchen and a hot shower and flushing loo. There is a wonderful wood fired hot tub here too! The Safari Camp is a large tent set next to a babbling brook and is a short stroll to the River Wye and a private picnic area. There is gas cooking, and of course a huge large firepit . Another hut provides hot shower and flushing loo. River Orchard Camp is a restored gypsy wagon and a large bell tent set in a pretty orchard with steps down to a secluded spot right on the River Wye.
