Breathe in fresh mountain air on the front deck overlooking the views of the mountains, or grill out on the back deck and enjoy the gas fire table. the house is built on the side of a mountain so guests will park at the top of a steep driveway that's accessible to all vehicles but may require 4-wheel drive in icy/snowy weather Parking is limited in the driveway to 3-4 vehicles and additional vehicles can park off the street or in resort parking lots.
surrounding area downtown harrisonburg and james madison university are 15 miles from our home Explore the fantastic restaurants, museums and shops downtown. The Shenandoah Valley offers many attractions including caverns, wineries and breweries. The closest Shenandoah River access is only 10 miles from the house. Enjoy tubing and kayaking during warm weather. The Swift Gap entrance to Shenandoah National Park, Skyline Drive and the Appalachian Trail is only 15 miles away and offers excellent hiking opportunities.

no illegal substances are permitted at the home and open containers of alcohol are prohibited on any road or common area
no smoking inside the house Smoking in the house will incur a $750 fine. Smoking is allowed outside of the house, but all butts are to be cleaned up and safely removed.
