Summary: My brothers, sister, and I brought our father out to California for a trip with his adult kids and some quality time together. Dad is getting older and slowing down, so we needed a place with some peaceful areas for "down time" in between seeing his favorite LA sights. The Zen House was perfect! The outdoor space is truly retreat-like, with patios, gardens, and a pool - honestly so spacious and unheard of for a VRBO in LA! The inside is fabulously decorated and also spacious. We had plenty of room to spread out and enjoy our own space, yet also come together for dining and planning our next adventures. The location was quiet and perfectly located for our excursions to Marina Del Rey and Santa Monica, as well as a drive in the hills and an afternoon downtown. This property is convenient to the airport so we didn't have to battle LA traffic hardly at all! Our host was helpful and responded quickly to questions. We very highly recommend the Zen House and had an absolutely wonderful stay!!
