This property is located in the charming "Old Town District" of Salobreña, nestled among narrow streets and traditional Spanish townhouses, at the foot of the stairs that lead up to the entrance of the castle.

All along the beach are beachside restaurants ("chiringuitos"), popular restaurants and bars that provide the freshest seafood imaginable (most of that caught that morning or the day before). If not in the mood for seafood, they also serve grilled meats.

Many of the towns along the coast are worth visiting, however, you will find that unlike Salobrena, most suffer from being overbuilt with high-rises and condos, an overabundance of non-Spaniards who have some degree spoiled their authentic nature and feel of Spanish towns. That is not the case with Salobrena, which is why we love our town so much. Oh, and right next door, an easy walk down the beach, is the village of La Caleta, which until recently was home to Europe's last sugar cane factory, where one of the finest rumsin the world is still made.
