It consists of 17 individual chalets all served by wooden paths, including 1 central service chalet. Each chalet has an apartment on the ground floor and one or two bedrooms upstairs. They can be booked either on the ground floor alone or as an entire chalet depending on the number of guests. Each chalet has a panoramic terrace with a view and each living room faces south, with glaciers view. The Kitchen is fully equipped, for your comfort all bathrooms have a window and the toilets are separate. The quality bedding is king-size for the double bed (or modular in 2 single beds). Quiet, you will also enjoy the green spaces around each chalet. In summer, you can practice hiking, cycling and doing many tourist circuits around. Positive: Village beautiful and very welcoming. The kids loved, the pool, the mountain location is stunning. Wonderful views. Friendly local shops. Room layout was good and beds comfy. All clean on arrival. WiFi good.
Negative: Staff not welcoming. Extra charges not clear on booking.com. feeling that as guests we were an imposition. Will 100% visit La Grave again but look for alternative accommodation. Unclear expectations about room. Kitchen difficult to use high oven with door that made it hard to get stuff out. Little space to cook on.
Summary: Good apartments, not the friendliest.
