The property is unique in that it has its own natural salt water pool carved out in front of the home where you can snorkel from the home to beautiful coral reefs just a few hundred feet away. The home itself is the definition of "open concept" with a very large living room and kitchen that keep the ocean the focal point. South Palmetto point is an excellent central location to make the most of your Eleuthera vacation. Situated approximately in the middle of the island is ideal whether you want to venture south to Lighthouse beach or the head north towards Harbor Island. Located approximately 8km from Governors Harbor ensures you have access to all amenities. Most importantly is the very close proximity to some of the best beaches in the world, you can enjoy your own private beach right outside your door, head over to "Ten Bay" beach just down the coast or head over to the Atlantic side beaches. All of this in less than a 10 minute drive from the home gives you a great choice of beaches to change things up or plan your day with the direction of the wind..

Summary: We appreciated the location - spacious home. Phil was very helpful and pineapple lounge serves some great tacos!! 3 J jerk take away is great- really great! Sunsets are right out the door. Encourage folks to use it buy The Beach Book for finding 170beaches on this glorious island. French Leave South and the Lighthouse beach were our favorites.
