Large house of 250 m2 fully renovated in 2016 that can accommodate up to 9 people.
this house, which is our main residence, not overlooked, is located in the heart of the park chézine, 10 minutes from downtown nantes
it consists of a large kitchen, a living room of 28 m2, a living room of 40 m2 with fireplace, all overlooking the garden, facing south, 700 m2 with terrace of 45 m2
on the 1st floor, you will find 3 bedrooms (1 bedroom with double bed 160, 1 bedroom with double bed 160 and a bedroom with single bed), 2 bathrooms, one with bath and a mezzanine of 25 m2 and 2 toilets
on the second floor, 2 large bedrooms of 25 m2 (one with a double bed 160 cm and one with 2 single beds of 90), a shower room, a toilet
in the garden there is a garden furniture, table and chairs for 8-10 people, a barbecue and a large trampoline
we have 2 very nice cats, who live mainly outdoors
we offer 3 bikes for adults (2 mountain bikes and 1 city bike and 2 children's bikes
the house is quietly located in a dead end but close to all amenities: bus 300m, small shops 800m and shopping center 15 km.
the first beaches are less than an hour (pornic 45 mn, la baule 50 mn, normoutier 1h, quiberon 1h40)

Summary: Marc and Claire were great through all the booking process and very accommodating with our check in time. On our arrival we found wine, local sweets and literature on nearby attractions, many of which we visited, which was so thoughtful and very much appreciated. The pictures do not do the amazing space and light of this home justice. We loved the mixture of old beams and modern clean lines and the stunning lighting throughout. The kitchen was very well equipped, although we chose to barbecue mostly and the bathrooms were generous, clean and the shower was great. The outside space is generous, our children enjoyed playing football and playing on the trampoline, while we enjoyed the relaxed seating and a glass of wine. The patio area is large and outside lighting allowed us to sit out well into the evening. The local area provided, several boulangeries and a Carrefour for all the supplies we needed. Nantes is beautiful and there is plenty to do and many restaurants. Within an hour we found stunning beaches, visited a fabulous safari park and Puy du Foy, which despite my initial apprehension was well worth the money...our 4 and 6 year old were totally spell bound, as were we. We felt very lucky to stay in such a beautiful home, it could not have been a better base for our holiday. The local areas provided a varied choice of things to do, our children are only young, but there is more than enough for older children and adults. Claire and Marc were fabulous hosts, checking we were okay and it was lovely to meet them at the end. Just one thing, if you are coming from the UK, our bedding sizes are different, the measurements are provided in the information, but do double check, we managed with flat sheets and the duvet poking out of the bottom of our cover, but double check as standard UK fitted sheets are too small for the beds.
