in the village of st estephe ( 1km away) there is a bakery and bar so a gentle stroll down to the bakery in the morning for fresh bread and croissants.

You can walk around the lake on shady level footpaths and cross the end of the lake on the 'bac' ( hand operated ferry). In high season there is a life guard and free canoes & kayaks.
