Our neighborhood is quiet, but if you need a little excitement and don't want to wait in lines in Portland, you can take an easy stroll to downtown Milwaukie for a bite to eat or spend hours looking through all the selections at the Beer Store Milwaukie. There are four cafes to choose from, a food cart pod, Dark Horse Comic headquarters and many other great shops. In the summer you can enjoy Milwaukie Farmers Market, one of the best farmers markets around. There is also a short hiking trail about a half a mile away as well as Milwaukie Bay Park and Elk Rock Island.
