Positive: It was adequate. Could use a little update on the room decor. The wall decor was not very attractive. Basic amenities for the most part. They didn't offer a washcloth and when I had to drive up and get it accidentally left it in my car until I checked out. Staff was pleasant and checking in and out with nice. Breakfast was free and had some hot offered items that were pretty good and comparable to some other hotels of similar value. I was pleased that it was close to the venue that I was trying to travel to. It is a little bit out of the way of the city, just enough for me to be actually more comfortable.
Negative: Just the basicness of the hotel. It didn't have much information about surrounding things. It could probably offer more for sure or handouts about restaurants nearby instead of my needing to look it up. If they normally do have that I simply didn't have it in my room. In order to call the lobby for my room I had to just call the basic front number but it would have been nice to have an inspections. The toughest thing was that I had to drive to the lobby and not really able to walk in the room so it was kind of weird but that is what type of venue it is. Making sure they were adequate towels and washcloths again would have been helpful.
