the house was built in 1940 and because of that there are a few little quirks So you don’t run into any surprises during your stay, here are a few things to note about the house.
- to get to the downstairs bedrooms and living areas you will walk through the laundry room we’ve tried to make it as pretty as possible but let’s face it- it’s still a laundry room
- the front door needs a little force to be shut all the way If you don’t, sometimes the wind will blow it open.
- some of the interior doors don’t latch very easily, but with a little love they all close fully
- the stairs down to the basement are a little steep
- the downstairs living area has a lower ceiling due to duct work If you’re tall watch your head as you walk in..
