Here on a sunny plateau there is a mild healing climate and the area is known for numerous sunny days! Regional cuisine and varied culture ensure unforgettable vacation enjoyment. Thanks to its central location, St. Veit is also an ideal starting point for day trips to Hohenwerfen Castle and the nearby Eisriesenwelt, the Celtic town of Hallein with its show mine, the Liechtenstein Gorge, the Mozart town of Salzburg, the Großglockner High Alpine Road and the Krimml Waterfalls.
