Summary: Very good location. Quick walk to the subway station so you can get to all the tourist areas fairly quick. We appreciate this the most. As other said, the rooms can be very tiny, but they’re very cosy if you like small rooms. I’ve been in Japan a few times and many of these chain hotels are like this so nothing on an extra extraordinary for Japan standards. It was very clean and we appreciate that the most. To get to the hotel, we took the Kensai express airport train to Ueno and then took a taxi from there to the hotel and the cost was $15 by Uber. Just save us from dragging our luggage on the train station or walking from Ueno station. If you’re young and don’t mind driving your luggage definitely you can just take the subway and walk 10 minutes. I think the only one complaint I have was I did find a bit a bit hard but my wife said it was fine for her so definitely it’s up to the individual. There was coffee and tea and a bunch amenities that you can pick up near the front desk. They also have a few laundry machines and surprisingly they weren’t that busy. There are just so many restaurants around so you won’t have trouble eating nearby. I will definitely consider staying here again.
