Balkan Han Hostel is a colorful, social hostel in the heart of Sarajevo. Han, a word dating back from the Ottoman Empire, means lodging for travelers and their caravans. We believe this describes our beautiful, eclectic hostel well as it is a home for travelers from all over the world. :)
our hostel is centrally located; less than 200m from main street, nearby local bus and tram stops, and within 10 minutes walk to the old town
we have 5 door rooms with single and double bunk beds There is one private four-person dorm with a private bathroom and one two-person apartment with a private bathroom and kitchen. Linen, towels, and private lockers are provided for all guests, and there is free wifi throughout the hostel. Our hostel has a beautiful, large outdoor patio where guests can drink, relax, and socialize with each other. The bar has local beer, wine, and rakija available for guests at affordable prices. There is a large self-service kitchen with a stove, fridges, microwave and kettle. There are multiple common seating areas including a living room.
