Purple Cherry B & B is a 3 bedroom home, one side of a duplex, and it's own private residence (just freshly remodeled and painted) located in East Anchorage off of Muldoon. It has full WI-FI and streaming services available, and has printing available through the WI-FI in the owners adjacent unit (free with small documents upon request). It is pet, child, and cannabis friendly. It has a fully fenced yard (great for keeping our 4 legged friends off leash without having to worry) with a gated drive for parking immediately in front of the unit. It is less than 100 yards from an Elementary School with a playground, which is awesome for families.
all 3 bedrooms have a queen bed, tv, internet streaming box for use of apps like netflix if you have an account, and locking doors that are numbered for rental by the room (only rents as a whole unit on homeaway) The kitchen is stocked with kitchenware, dishware, utensils and items for most of your cooking needs. It comes stocked with coffee and a pot. Any items that may be desired such as a crock pot or blender can be requested, even last minute, and are typically available immediatly (owners cell number is provided for any requests via text-and is typically available on site). The living room is large and faces West allowing optimal sun exposure year round. The living room also contains a large flat screen TV that has DVD and streaming as well as Direct TV Now hooked up and connected for that football game or show you just can't miss. There is a dining area and a stack-able washer and dryer with laundry-soap for use while at Purple Cherry. The bathroom is a full bath complete with tub.
the yard has a fire-pit (wood available free) for use as long as there is no burn ban in effect There is also a yard swing, lawn chairs and table, and charcoal grill for your use while at Purple Cherry. 2 adult bicycles and one child bicycle are available for use at no charge (unless occupied-but typically available) and can be requested for a specific time if you so desire.
no smoking of tobacco of any kind is allowed in the unit, and any violation will pay a hefty fine (noted in the welcome book which provides information and can be flipped through upon arrival) Being cannabis friendly, it may be consumed anywhere on the premises, although, any damages resulting from it's use will be charged accordingly.
tikahtnu commons shopping center (anchorages newest shopping district) is located exactly one mile from the unit There you will find all kinds of shopping centers, services, places to eat, as well as Anchorages newest movie theater. Less than a mile along Muldoon there are many businesses including Fred Meyers and Walmart. There are many choices for food, both fast food and dine in restaurants. There are after hours things to do including a billiards hall, one of Anchorages historic Bars - The Cabin Tavern, and a bar with a nice dance floor The Last Frontier, all within a quarter to half mile from the unit well within walking distance.
the highway is minutes away and once on the glen it is a quick 5 minutes until you hit the merrill field corridor at which point it changes into 6th avenue and you are downtown Muldoon is the last exit off of the Glen Highway as you leave Anchorage heading towards Eagle River, Palmer (Alaska State Fair), or Wasilla. It makes travel from Anchorage to the Alaska State Fair as quick and close as possible if staying in Anchorage..
