the canon suite & nursery - this beautiful two-room suite offers one of the best views in the house! grand king sized bed in the main room The view from this Nursery bay window is of the cityscape on the mountainside, the front lawn, and garden, with a view of Manitou Avenue. An oversized twin-size daybed finishes the suite, providing for an additional guest or escape to a late-day nap. The bath features a claw-foot tub with a drenching rainfall shower. A large en-suite private bath with large scrollwork antique-style mirror above a pedestal sink.

A corner fireplace warms the room. Midland Avenue, just a couple streets behind The Avenue, in Manitou Springs is where the old Midland train station stood in 1887. The Avenue was built one year earlier in 1886, and the Midland Room is aptly named because it reflects the aura of a by-gone era.
