Summary: We rented this entire apartment for our family of 8 and had a wonderful time. It is located just around the corner from one of the most beautiful town squares in Europe. There are many shops and restaurants within walking distance. The apartment contains four bedrooms, a kitchen with dining area, and bathroom with sinks in a common hallway for quicker access. There is also a second toilet room in the outer hallway. While this space can be rented by smaller groups who share the common kitchen and bath areas (the bedrooms all lock), we really enjoyed having the whole place to ourselves, after staying in separate hotel rooms elsewhere. It gave us a chance to relax and have that "at home" feeling. We unloaded the van at the place the owner directed us to, then drove around and parked at the mall (am Nonnenhaus, where they have an Edeka supermarket) and then walked up Neue Strasse to the Stiftskirche, turned right and walk straight up to the apartment. This parking location made it easy to run into the stores to get supplies before and after our driving outings. From there we visited Hohenzollern Castle, Ritter Sport chocolate visitors' center, Porsche World, and various historical sites. So in summary, this is a great place to rest and use as a base to go sightseeing, but it does require some walking over cobblestones if you have a car.
