Summary: This is an interesting place. A grand old mansion coupled with a new yoga retreat. I didn't stay at the retreat but booked a room to be in the area for the eclipse. Their are two different kinds of rooms, the mansion rooms and the carriage house rooms. The carriage house is the converted barn and these rooms are decorated in a more modern style. Carriage house rooms also include at least two basement rooms (which was what we were given) that are honestly kind of grim and gloomy. Would advise future travelers to ask for any rooms other than those in the basement. On the positive side, the shower was great and there is a beautiful common room to hang out in. I do think the owners or managers should try to hire more staff. Everyone we interacted with was wonderful but my sense is that they had to be about three places at once at all times. It was sometimes hard to find someone to ask questions/get help.
