also, a walk away is henry viii's favorite childhood stomping grounds: the english heritage site eltham palace with a lovely café and celebrated gardens and interiors, and eltham, which has an array of high street shops such as whsmiths, boots, marks, and spencer, as well as a cinema and several chain and independent restaurants
