Summary: This beautiful four bedroom home had a wonderful escape from the "everyday". The home was well equipped with a beautiful bed in three of the rooms and a room with a bunk bed with trundle. The kitchen was spacious and perfect for our group that ranges from 5 - 8 through the week. We all said it was one of the best stocked kitchen in any rental home that we have used (the only thing we could not find was a pizza cutter and veggie peeler, but the everything else that was easily overcome). The outdoor area was great for the avid readers in the group. The wooded summer view didnt allow much river view but it was still relaxing. I will note for others that the access to the river is currently only available through a nature path/trail off the driveway, which based on our trackers was captured as a 15 flight stair climb (I will say gradual) so to be sure to bring a pair of hiking sandals or tennis shoes if planning on using the canoes. Also the river access on site is from an inlet so it took a bit to get canoeing started, but was fun once we got out a bit.
