all paved roads to the cabin We recommend 4x4 wheel drive at any cabin in Gatlinburg and/or the mountains as well as this one. It's easy to reach the cabin and very close to downtown Gatlinburg.

we always recommend 4x4 drive for anywhere in the great smoky mountains The cabin features paved roads all the way up and without any inclement weather any car should be fine but again, we recommend 4x4 wheel drive when visiting the area.

Summary: This is an amazing place to just get away. It provides the seclusion that is perfect to relax and unwind. House is just the right size for a couple and even an extra person. Hot tub offered a nice respite from a day of hiking while enjoying an AMAZING view of the mountains. Clean house with nice little touches to make you feel welcome. It is also only a few miles to downtown which offers many stores, restaurants and entertainment. Host was easily accessible and responsive. Would definitely return!
