Summary: A beautifully renovated hotel and property; all of the staff were wonderful and made us very welcome. The views really are stunning and the terraced hotel takes full advantage at every floor of that view! It was the end of the season and so things were winding down which resulted in a few of the menu items being unavailable or missing a main ingredient —like a Niçoise salad without the listed tuna—or no available basil. These are quibbles though on what is a quiet peaceful retreat from what can be a pretty high energy environment in Amalfi even in October! The road is not for the faint of heart, but totally worth it for the views and tranquility. The rooms are spacious and very comfortable.
