A gorgeous 3 bed/2 bath historic home! The house was originally built in 1934 and known as Hillcrest Farm due to being located at the top of the hill coming up from downtown Augusta.
also, we can't forget to mention the location! this house couldn't be in a better location It is conveniently located 5 min from AU Medical Center/Campus and about 7 min from Downtown Augusta. perfect for students or medical professionals!
if you like high ceilings and appreciate good décor, you will fall in love with this house!
walking in the front door will put you in the living room with a 72" wall mounted tv above the gas fireplace Heading toward the rear of the house you will pass through the dining room and into the recently, partially renovated kitchen with granite countertops and counter to ceiling windows that let in natural light. Going into the hallway, you will see a large guest room that is adjacent to a full bath that was recently renovated. On the other side of this bathroom is the Master bedroom with a completely renovated bathroom that you need to see to appreciate! It has 12 foot ceilings, a dual vanity, large shower, and natural lighting. Both of these bedrooms have 55" wall mounted TVs and four post queen beds.
the last bedroom also has a queen bed but does not have a wall mounted tv
the laundry room at the back of the house and is equipped with a large capacity washer and dryer and a dyson vacuum Going through the laundry room will put you on the back porch/patio that sits between the house and a cottage (separate from the house). it is a great place to sit and have a cup of coffee when the weather cools down a bit!
and while the yard is not fenced, it does feel extremely private
there is a separate cottage behind the house that is rented out via airbnb The cottage has it's own parking, trash/recycling bins, power, water, etc. and the cottage guest should only have minimal contact with the house guest. We have had this setup for over 2 years and have never had an issue or compliant!.
