our supremely comfortable cape cod cottage sits on a corner lot of the elegant bancroft parkway, near to wawaset park Featuring a screened-in porch, gourmet kitchen and private parking, this property is equally suitable for visiting corporate executives as it is for sightseeing, weddings or family gatherings .
despite the peaceful location, bancroft cottage is very much ‘in town’ — within walking distance of wilmington’s historic little italy neighborhood, trolley square, the delaware art museum, and a 10-minute drive to the amtrak station and downtown business district
the space: the property features two large upstairs bedrooms with queen beds, televisions and space to unpack In addition, there is a first-floor bedroom/office with a twin bed, and a finished basement with two twin-sized beds for overflow guests. Each bedroom features high-quality linens and mattresses. There’s even a “Secret Room” off one of the bedrooms with another bed for a youngster.
