la casa redonda was built in 2010, 300 meters above sea level, and 14 km from the seashore It's a one bedroom, one bath with standing shower, and full kitchen in the serene town of Altavista. The second floor is an open patio with a beautiful 360-degree view of the ocean an amazing place to read, meditate, or do yoga. After a day at the nearby beaches, enjoy cooling down in the salt water pool. Enjoy the tranquility of a small town where you are able to disconnect from life's demands.

cerrito encantado offers a secluded getaway, but please be aware of our unique entrance If you're driving, we recommend using a 4x4 or AWD vehicle to navigate the steep and private entrance comfortably. Alternatively, you can park on the main road and walk down to the property. The road is rocky and occasionally slippery, so take your time and exercise caution. If you need help with your luggage, please let us know in advance, and we'll gladly assist you.

altavista is located an hour and a half north of puerto vallarta It's essential to be aware that we are one hour behind Puerto Vallarta and Guadalajara. Our official time zone is Mexican Pacific Daylight Time. Please plan your arrival and departure accordingly.

cerrito encantado is nestled in a tropical area surrounded by jungle, mountains, and the ocean As such, insects and wildlife are a part of our natural ecosystem. While we take thorough measures to maintain a clean and bug-free environment between guests, it's important to note that our setting may not be suitable for guests with extreme insect sensitivities. Some insects may occasionally find their way inside despite our efforts.

our property is diligently maintained by our manager, tomi She is on-site three days a week, and additionally, she comes every morning and evening to take care of the dogs, ensuring they are both let out and securely tied up for the night.
tomi is not only responsible but also incredibly warm and welcoming, so don't hesitate to say hello!
we are sometimes on the property, but we do our best to give you the space you need, but are also open to chatting!

cerrito encantado is a multi-level complex with two casitas and a two-story six-bedroom building The rental is only for La Casa Redonda which sits on the lower-level southwest part of the property. If you would like to bring more people we do have other units available please check my profile to see the other options. Otherwise, you may encounter other guests on the property. If you would like a private experience, you can rent the entire property just visit my profile for the listing.
la casa redonda is around 550 square feet, one bedroom, one bath with standing shower, and full kitchen in the serene village of altavista It's fully furnished with all the essentials including linens, towels, and kitchenware. The ceiling fans will keep you cool while you're inside cooking or enjoying the internet connected TV.
most people who stay with us spend most of their time outside on the front patio enjoying the view, relaxing, and eating fresh fruit off the trees There's nearly always a cool breeze outside and you can easily get lost while watching the wind flow through the beautiful vegetation on the property.
nearly every area of cerrito encantado has an enchanting view of the surrounding valley and ocean, but the most breathtaking view can be found on the second floor of la casa redonda It's an open patio with a beautiful panoramic view of all the surrounding areas. It's an amazing place to read, meditate, or do yoga.
if you have extra guests in your group, we do have separate bedrooms on the upper level of the property that are available to rent It's only a minute walk away from the entrance of La Casa Redonda.

otherwise, you can park on the main road and walk down to the property The road down is made of rocks and can be bumpy and at time slippery. Please take your time and be careful walking up and down. If you would like assistance to take your luggage down or up please let us know in advanced, we'll be happy to arrange that for you.

cerrito encantado is located in a tropical area, in close proximity to the jungle, mountains, and ocean Bugs and critters make up our natural ecosystem and come with the territory. Our site are not ideal for insect-phobic guests. We do everything possible to keep them outside, by thoroughly cleaning the space between guests, but some inevitably still wander in.
