Positive: The apartment was very clean and well equipped. Decorated in an old style, but the same time the furniture in a very good condition. Very comfortable bed with lots of pillows and fluffy duvets. Apartment has 2 spacious balconies and free parking. The property is located in a quiet place with plenty of hiking area. I would recommend it to anyone looking to spend quality time outdoors. If you want to eat well, you can go to the city center of Usseln (3 min drive) - the restaurant recommended by the host was perfect for our needs.
Negative: Sadly, the post-booking service negatively affected our overall experience. During check-in and check-out, the owner was very friendly and polite, but after the stay she refused to help me get a receipt for the extra charges I had to pay in addition to the payment I made to Booking.com. I feel that even as a private host, the owner should provide a receipt for the extra charges they charged me directly (especially since they requested cash payment). I needed a receipt to claim a refund from Booking.com and their refusal to provide one resulted in losing money. Please consider changing your approach in the future, which will certainly improve customer satisfaction.
