Positive: The house is located just at the sea, so every morning you have not disturbed sea view. You can chill out in beautiful garden with lots of glass sculptures and mosaics, but also absolutely beautiful plants. Similarly lots of paintings (real paintings) and mosaics in the house, so you see that hosts were doing a lot to make you feel comfortable. The owners family is very pleasant, welcoming and helpful. Kitchen is equipped in whatever you need, except the kettle, but Italians don't drink lots of tea and herbs, so it was expected. We managed to boil the water in the pot, so it was fine. Kitchen itself is very (very!) small, just for one person at the time It is great location to visit Apuglian monuments and nature heritage. So to rest with book and wine, I would rate the place 10. But I am not fully healthy and I have two teenagers (16 and 14), so read cons if you need
Negative: Things I would like to know before booking would be: - sleeping in the basement (entire sleeping area is located in the basement). Although each room is air conditioned, the building is not new and there is no mechanic ventilation, in rainy days you have this unpleasant impression that everything is damp. I personally have difficulties in breathing in such environment. Knowing that, I would probably chose different accommodation, to feel more comfortable. - We knew that internet access is not provided, but we were not aware that there mobile signal is only available in front of the house and in the living room. And sometimes it is extremely slow or none. Of course you don't surf the net if you are on holiday, but sometimes you want to check something, plan the trip, review restaurant etc, and you can't. It was a little annoying for us, but for our kids, who planned to watch movies in the evenings in the beds and of course inform "the world" what they do - it was disaster (you have teenagers, you understand).
