Travel Purpose: leisure
Positive: The property was in a quiet neighbourhood, very green lovely small town, with a forest walk, close to the train station about 14 minutes walk, it has a lovely small high street and it was close to our friends home however it’s easier if you have a car!
Negative: The information on the back of the door is only In German, it should be also in English! If owner speaks English surely it should also have the information in English too. There was no bin in the bedrooms and the kitchen bin was too small, the property has no living room space, it is a one bedroom apartment turned into a 2 bedroom, at the time of booking it stated 2 bedroom apartment meaning it should have a living room. We noticed there was an unpleasant smell In the kitchen, unfortunately it never left after airing the room! We found out that the family sleeping upstairs was the owner of the building who has a young family, we were rudely awaken due to loud thumping noise, however after informing the owner the thumping had subsided. The large bed is lumpy and uncomfortable, it took a while to get a good position to sleep as one sided of the bed sank and the other side is more firmer. The two single beds made you sink in, not for everyone!
Summary: Interesting place , however it was not my cup of tea due to lack of sleep!
