Travel Purpose: leisure
Positive: The location was beautiful and peaceful. Only 10’ out of Skopelos town. The host, Mrs Elli, was very helpful and accommodating. We could see the port in the distance and even spotted some golden eagles flying in the valley. There were lovely sitting areas both inside and out. There was a gentle breeze blowing most of the time especially in the evenings when we sat outside and listened to the owls and watched the stars. The two bathrooms which were situated in the basement, were newly and very tastefully renovated, trying to keep in style with the house. There was a washing machine and clothes line outside which was very handy. ok.
Negative: The beds were a bit too hard for some of us and the pillows a bit too big ( but that is a personal taste) and when I mentioned it to Mrs Elli she very kindly sent a few thinner pillows for us. There could have been a bit more storage space for our clothes as only one of the bedrooms had a small wardrobe but there was a long sitting area outside the bedrooms which we used for laying out our clothes 😊 The fridge could have been bigger as we were a family of 5, but we managed.
