on 30 private acres you don't have many neighbors! the fort ross store (general store, food, coffee, deli, and wine/alcohol) is at the bottom of the hill, 100 yards away (1 min walk) The Fort Ross Lodge is directly across Highway 1. Timber Cove Resort is 2 minutes away by car, and Stillwater Cove is 5 minutes by car.
on property you only need your feet! it's a 3-minute walk to the fort ross store (basic food items, wine, coffee, deli) It's a 15-minute walk to Windermere Point on the cliffs. From there, a steep trail leads to Kolmer Gulch with a private beach. Everything else requires a car on Highway 1.
there are 5 outdoor security cameras on the property All cameras are actively recording 24/7 both visually and audibly but are not monitored and are there for safety reasons. Three are directed towards the front of the house (front yard, driveway north, and driveway south), one on the south side of the house, and one facing the backyard / meadow.
