Summary: This house is delightful and has a cared-for garden that is a pleasure to sit in when it’s not raining. The house was bang in the middle of Winchester and great for access to the Harestock side of the town. Parking would have been a nightmare without the Ringo app (foreigners beware), because there is essentially no on street parking and you have to pay a small overnight fee for the large garage a few meters away. Close to station so if you are doing a weekend and don’t need to leave town this would be perfect. House was well equipped, but the bathroom was a nightmare. Why not remove the bath and have a nice big shower? 2 inadequate showers in one room and a minuscule unventilated toilet in a cupboard under the stairs really let the place down. Hosts were great and flexible and overall this was the nicest place we have stayed in Winchester (4th time using VRBO).
