Creekside rural retreat with comfortable, vintage vibes for the whole family. Sleeps up to 8, and lots of room to roam on the 22 acres of property. Located in Lansing, NC--a small town with all the amenities you could want.

we have three bedrooms and one bathroom, a living room, a dining room, and a kitchen There is laundry access in the garage.
there is a beautiful creek that runs the length of the property A wooden bridge spans the creek and it is the only access to the house.
the house was built in the 60s and has not been updated significantly While it sleeps 8, it may be difficult for 8 people to share one bathroom and eat at one table.

guests have the entire house, the front and back yard, the outdoor veranda, the field to the right of the house (facing the creek) and the creek The creek can be slippery and shoes should always be worn when wading. Guests enter the creek at their own risk. Children should NEVER be left unattended.

Summary: House is as described in the listing. It’s not fancy, but clean and restful. The stream is beautiful. About 5 minutes to Lansing and 35 minutes to West Jefferson, an hour to Boone. We have enjoyed both our stays. (July & Aug/Sept)
