Ski-in & out from the door of this very comfortably furnished mountain retreat. Enjoy après ski time while staying cozy and warm and enjoying a view of the slopes. The fully-equipped kitchen and bright dining area are great to enjoy family meals together. The master bedroom also has a great view of the slopes and the living room has a futon sofa bed. Cozy furnishings and linens make this a home away from home! There is an entrance for coats & boots and free underground parking. village amenities are nearby - the trading post convenience store and arcade, gunbarrel saloon, the edge bistro, mountain ski/board shop, skating loop/rink and tube park with many great activities to enjoy your winter escape!

in just six minutes the high-speed quad chairlift reaches the top of the mountain and you can ski on 550 acres with 56 runs spread over 2 mountain faces (apex and beaconsfield peaks) At Nickel Plate there are 52km of Nordic ski trails. The Tube Park and Adventure Skating Loop are close by for lots of fun winter activities! Visit the Gunbarrel Bar and Restaurant, The Edge Bistro, The Trading Post and a variety of other skier services including a Mountain Ski Shop and Rental Shop. apex mountain is a training ground for the canadian ski team, and nickel plate nordic centre has world class skiing & panoramic views as far as the coast!

Penticton is also host to an internationally known hockey school, many festivals, events and races take place all year round.

getting around:
skiing, snowshoeing & hiking are right outside the front door, but you will need a car! apex resort is conveniently located 25 minutes from penticton and 2 hours from kelowna Strayhorse is Ski-in/Ski-out with an easy glide to the village and ski lifts in about three to five minutes on the trail. It's a 10 minute walk to the village for restaurants, cafes, and shopping. The village has a regulation size hockey rink, a 1.5 k. skating loop through the trees, and skate rentals. The Nickel Plate cross-country area with heated chalet is a 10 minute drive.
