Positive: Helen was very welcoming ensuring that we had everything we needed. She has a very comprehensive pack of things to do during the visit and was on hand to answer any questions and offer advice. Check in was very easy. Courtyard Cottage was very comfortable and had everything we needed for our stay. The kitchen was very well equipped, the beds were comfortable and there was plenty of parking. It was very easy to travel from the Cottage to various areas around the Peak District.
Negative: The Booking.com site would not allow us to send messages to or receive them from the Host through the Booking.com site. Apparently due to GDPR reasons as the property is listed by Sykes Cottages through Booking.com . However, Helen, the host, was able to make contact directly to provide us with all the information we needed. It would be convenient for Helen if this issue could be sorted our by Booking.com and Sykes Cottages. The wifi was a little unpredictable but Helen is aware and looking into it.
Summary: An extremely comfortable cottage, conveniently situated for access to much of the Peak District.
