Following the road up out of the village leads you through the wild and wonderful hills, valleys and woodlands. Which is home to an abundance of wildlife and boasts some wonderful walking trails. This is a paradise for those who love nature and the great outdoors. With the convenience of your own off-road driveway this apartment is all on the ground floor. With high ceilings and large bay windows, this is a bright and welcoming home from home. The living area to the front of the property has sofas and armchairs where you can all comfortably unwind in an evening together beside the warming gas fire. To the back of the property looking out onto the garden is the dining room and a well-equipped kitchen, here you can cook your favourite home cooked meals. In total this property can comfortably welcome four adults and two children, making this an ideal choice for families, as well as two couples looking to holiday together.

Whitby is only 4 miles away with its famous cobbled streets, a wonderful array of shops, boutiques, pubs, tea rooms and restaurants. The famous 12th-century Whitby Abbey and St Mary's church sits on the hilltop, reached by 199 steps - the view from the top over the harbour and town is worth the effort. This vibrant, bustling town with a marina, beaches and a fascinating history, is ideal for those who want plenty to do. Whitby is a bustling fishing town and is home to many amazing events throughout the year. A 3 mile stretch of sandy beach, a colourful harbour, cobbles streets, alleyways and ginnels lined with quaint little cottages complete the picture. From Whitby or Ruswarp you can board the North York Moors steam train and take a memorable journey through the glorious Esk Valley, arriving in the market town of Pickering. With scenic villages to visit along the way, nestled in the heather clad moorland. The walled city of York is approximately an hour's drive and well worth a visit. Historic homes, halls and castles in this part of North Yorkshire. For a special treat for young children take a trip to Flamingland theme park.
