Converted in 2019, each cottage sympathetically combines the original character of the old barn with modern living requirements and feature wood burning stoves, double height living spaces, oak flooring, exposed stonework/beams and underfloor heating. The open-plan style cottages are ideal for couples and families and both properties accept pets. Set within the 4-acre grounds of the main thatched farmhouse, the cottages enjoy south facing views over fields towards Dartmoor and access to a stunning landscaped lake with seating and picnic areas.

The village of Witheridge is 3 minutes' drive away with a 7-day convenience store/post office, pub, cafe and a newsagent. A pizza van serves excellent wood-fired pizzas in the village each Wednesday and a fish and chip van visits on Fridays. The local area is well served with pubs and restaurants. Chulmleigh, 10 minutes' away, is a charming town with two pubs, a lovely restaurant, an Indian restaurant/takeaway, a convenience store, newsagent/post office, bakery and a traditional butcher. The Grove Inn, voted North Devon's Best Pub by CAMRA, in King's Nympton, is a 12-minute drive away and serves delicious food.
