Summary: We loved everything about this gem of a home. First of all, the views, the views! Massive windows in every bay-facing room showcase gorgeous everchanging waterviews. At low tide, you'll always see a few dozen herons just off the shore of the house. If you're an early bird, you'll also catch postcard-perfect sunrises. We even spied a bald eagle. The house itself could be in Architectural Digest. It's a combination of sleek yet warm, is designed with a blend stone & rich woods, & makes clever use of space (upstairs bedrooms have soaring ceilings) and a soothing color palette. The decor is both thoughtful & tasteful, with a very well stocked kitchen, beautiful dish- and glass- ware, adjustable lighting, binoculars (for better sighting those herons), lovely linens & towels, &, a small but much appreciated gesture: phone chargers in every bedroom, and the kitchen. This is no surprise as the owners are just as thoughtful, as well as welcoming & extremely responsive. Additionally, the furnished decks on both levels double the living space. The jacuzzi works perfectly & is perfectly relaxing, as is the sauna in the master bath, as is the sound of the wind through the rushes just outside the deck. The location is terrific as well; everything is a mere (or barely) ten minutes away: Spring Lake, Bel Mar beach, Asbury Park, a plethora of restaurants, paddleboarding, boating, and grocery stores. We're so glad we found Heron Cove on Vrbo.
