Positive: So spacious and quiet. Wonderful location - the Colosseum was just down the road. And all other common tourist sites (except Vatican) are within walking distance. Lots of eateries, and supermarket and fruit and vegetable stall just minutes walk away. Apartment has every thing you could ever need for a holiday let; for us staying 5 days having the washing machine was wonderful. Luca and Monica (hosts) welcomed us, arranged airport transfers and gave us good advice about lesser known things to see in Rome. The next part is not a criticism but a description. The sleeping areas are not totally private. One is a large (very comfortable) sofa bed in the lounge and another on a mezzanine level open to the stairs. It is possible to close the door to the small room from which you access the stairs. There is a third bedroom with two single beds that can be closed off that we (parents) used as our dressing room. There is only 1 shower and that's in the main bathroom downstairs. The upper bathroom (toilet, basin and bidet), access through a very low doorway, has opaque glass sliding doors on one wall that open to a balcony railing over which you look down into the lower bathroom. All of this worked excellently for us, two married couples of parents and child.
