Summary: We picked this place for a family reunion and it's in many ways beautiful. The fireplace and "tree" in the house are amazing, the lake is clear and quiet, star-gazing is great at night, and it's really a nice place to relax. We had a great time swimming, making music, and exploring the area. And yet, and yet — to make this a truly great Vrbo, it needs a little bit more ongoing attention. Make sure all the light bulbs are still working, the kayaks/boats can be used, the oven works (it didn't really for us), basic kitchen utensils are available etc. — just all the little things that come with managing a vacation home of this size. Plus, keep the description accurate — 10 bedrooms is a bit misleading, it's probably more like 6 with other places people could sleep in (though the bare-bones boathouse is a bit of a stretch). Anyway, this is a beautiful place and we had a great time, but it could use a little more "active" management to make it perfect.
