-highlands – gorgeous drive and an amazing town not too far away Tons and tons of great restaurants, shops, waterfalls along the way, zip lining, gem mining, sledding, and a couple of nice spas. Be sure to check out the Old Edwards Inn. this is where you want to go to play golf – pristine courses!
-cherokee – awesome area with the cherokee indian reservation, tons of shops, elk, cherokee indian history, a cook museum park and zoo called santa’s land, a river flowing thru the area that you can wade through Be sure to get tickets to attend the long-running drama Unto These Hills, a moving story of the Cherokee Indians. Also, the home of Harrah’s Casino.
