unique property comprising two residences (6 br) on nearly 10 acres with multiple terraces, new pool with stunning views, extensive gardens, olive grove and oak forest Adjacent to the historic Castles and wine estates of Vicchiomaggio and Verrazzano. Convenient to Greve and only 15 miles south of Florence-an easy day trip.
the main house is built behind an 11th century watch tower of the castle The first floor comprises double living room and dining room with bar that opens onto the front terrace, capturing the morning sun. Both are beautifully furnished with original 17th furniture. A large kitchen marries modern conveniences with a large hearth and table seating 12. There is a full pantry, bathroom and laundry off the kitchen. The kitchen opens onto the back terrace facing west under a large oak tree with grill and travertine stone table seating ten. The second floor has a second living room/office/yoga studio and five bedrooms, including one in the watchtower and three full baths--not en suite but a couple steps from the bedrooms. All bedrooms have their own AC units and window screens. The first floor remains cool even in the heat of summer because of the thick stone walls.
