when visiting venice beach, you are entering the most walkable and bike friendly city in all of los angeles We recommend exploring the great restaurant scene on Abbot Kinney, Rose Ave and Main/Pacific, as well as on the boardwalk. There has been a revival of the restaurant scene, and the shopping has always been top notch, especially on Abbot Kinney.
be sure to walk abbot kinney, especially on the weekends, if you want to see a great example of the vibrancy of this community If you’re up for a bike ride, take the path North all the way to the start of Malibu, or there is a secret path through Marina Del Rey that can take you all the way down on a bike path to Redondo.
