Summary: We had a lovely time in Corsica. The Villa was fantastic and more than enough room for 4 x adults and a young child. The photos really don’t do this place justice. Recently renovated kitchen, living and bathrooms. Lots of space and storage. All mod-cons. The villa itself is situated a few km from everywhere but not walking distance. Roads in and out are not pedestrian friendly and there are some feral dogs wandering around so we didn’t go wandering. Car is a must (which I think is the case throughout Corsica). Only draw backs in the villa; 1) Main bathroom had a bath but no stand up shower (meaning we needed to sit down to shower in the bath). The bedroom with the en-suite had a shower though. 2) The timber deck around the pool area was old and was riddled with splinters meaning footwear was a must when walking outside and our young boy couldn’t crawl outside which was sad. I understand that the deck is due for an update soon though. Marie (the host) was very helpful and great to deal with. Overall a great villa and definitely recommended.
