Guests can cook up something delicious on the private gas grill, or just gather around the firepit and gaze up at the stars. Follow the sun or the shade on the wrap-around deck where you can't find a bad view of the lake and the San Juan mountains with plenty of comfortable seating and a fire table.
the inside is just as relaxing, with plenty of windows throughout to provide natural light The living room's picture windows are a particular highlight, as everyone will love reminiscing at the end of each exciting day with a backdrop of vibrant sunsets. The main bedroom is on this first level, set with a king bed and an en suite bathroom with a large tub and towel warmer. Upstairs, guests can settle into one of the three remaining rooms each featuring a king bed (one room can split the king into two twin XL) and vaulted ceilings. No matter what bedroom guests choose, everyone can come help out in the fully equipped kitchen with plenty of prep space and a double oven. Summary: We had four generations in our family stay at this house for a quick getaway and it easily met all our needs. The master bedroom on the ground floor was spacious and we loved that it opened up out onto the deck. The bedrooms upstairs were all set up well and roomy enough for our needs. Insulation was wonderful and we didn't bother each other with our different morning/night routines. The downstairs area was spacious and provided enough seating for all of us to enjoy family time together. We loved the access to a paddleboat, two single kayaks, and a double kayak because it allowed us to spend a lot of time on the water - walking a literal 30 seconds from back door to water. The few issues we had with propane tanks running out and the hot tub needing serviced were met with friendly customer service representatives and resolved in a very speedy manner. We appreciated that! We also loved the location of this property because aside from being on a lake with beautiful mountain views, it was close to Walmart, away from the tourist-y section of Pagosa, and allowed us to hop into our car for hikes or to visit some attractions without driving too far in any direction.
