Welcome to our “little piece of heaven”! You will find our summer home situated in historic Granville Ferry, overlooking Canada’s oldest community, Annapolis Royal. We share our special place for a few weeks each summer with travellers to the Annapolis Valley. Holy Trinity Anglican Church was built in 1863. We took possession in January 2007 and soon began renovations to create our summer home. This charming former church has been converted to a beautiful, spacious 3-bedroom, 2½ bath, modern cottage with all of the conveniences. The master bedroom includes an ensuite. Each bedroom has a beautiful view of Annapolis Royal. There is a laundry room on the bedroom level. The well-equipped kitchen is a great entertaining area! There is a barbeque out back to compliment what is being cooked in the kitchen. While not out exploring the historic sites, North America’s only tidal generating station, and wineries (just to give a few suggestions), there is TV, ping-pong table, books, puzzles and board games for your enjoyment. You may choose to sit out front with a glass of wine watching the tides as they move through their 27-foot change from high tide to low tide. At low tide you can hit the shore to see what treasures you can find! Annapolis Royal is an easy 2 km walk or drive and we have a list of recommendations of places to visit, things to do, and restaurants to enjoy waiting for you when you arrive.
