In the evening, head out to enjoy a sunset meal at the Ledge Water Steak House or head on over to Kathleen's Cottage, voted best Irish Pub in NH, all within a few minutes from the cottage.

this is a traditional "housekeeping cottage", where guests provide their own linens (including blankets, towels, and pillows), paper products, and soaps There is a fabulous local market (Shacketts) a half mile walk or drive along the lake that offers all essentials as well as meat and seafood for the grill, beer & wine, and locally-famous homemade donuts (fresh and warm at 8 am each morning--yum!).
