set in the heart of umbria, our 18th century farm, which is listed as being of ‘historical importance’, has been carefully restored over the past 15 years The woods on either side of the valley are also protected for the wildlife.
monticchio is perched on a small hill with the nestore river running below there is a feeling of complete isolation yet we are only 5 minutes from local amenities,
our aim is to create a unique experience while staying with us and to share the joys that umbria has to offer
the property consists of four guesthouses/apartments which can sleep up to 25 people, they are all self contained large units with private terraces There is also a secluded infinity pool (20m by 5m) with a terrace which overlooks the valley.
the four units are divided as :
the pigsties, 90 sqm, one double bedrroom, up to 2/4 people
the barns, 2 double bedrooms, up to 5/6 people
the gaggia house, 3 double bedroom, up to 6/8 people
the main housse, 4 double bed rooms, up to 8/10 people
the capacity, is normally 21 people, but as the houses are large, there is the possibility to add extra beds for up to 27 people
