Here you can also see the little harbour village with its pod style shopping outlets. Along the harbour are two very good fish and chip shops as well as a fish restaurant and a fabulous ice cream parlour. Boat trips to Coquet Island can be taken from here. Views towards Warkworth Castle are lovely on a clear day and you can walk to Warkworth from Amble along the river.
