LAKE LURE WILL NOT BE OPEN FOR RECREATIONAL BOATING, FISHING, OR SWIMMING IN THE 2025 SEASON. Although the lake is closed and lowered while Hurricane Helene cleanup continues, there is much that our beautiful foothills area has to offer. LAKE ADGER, LAKE LANIER, SHUMONT LAKE, and MIRROR LAKE suffered no damage, so homes and those lakes are available. BALD MOUNTAIN LAKE in the resort is open and beautiful. We are welcoming guests in over 60 beautiful homes to use as a "home base" for visiting nearby towns, restaurants, shops, hiking areas, and seasonal special events in Lake Lure, Hendersonville, Asheville, Black Mountain, Saluda, and Tryon. Golf is open to the public at Rumbling Bald, and local area wineries, breweries, trails, and music are within an hour's drive. Many of the Chimney Rock shops are set up at the Tryon International Equestrian Center Pavilion. chimney rock park is now open!

This home is 1.7 miles to the Beach at Lake Lure, 2.5 miles to the chimney rock state park entrance, and 17 miles to the tryon international equestrian center (tiec), home to this year's world equestrian games!
upon entering, there is a wonderfully crisp and clean feel as you walk through a nice living area and kitchen that opens up to a large covered screened porch with a dining table and beautiful lake views!
there is a king-size bed in one bedroom and two queen beds in the second bedroom There is a full bath off the living area between the two bedrooms. the lower level offers another full bath and bedroom with two bunks, with a twin on top and a full on the bottom!
the dock at the lakeside is a great place to sit and dangle your feet in the water or bring your boat for use on the lake (contact lake lure for boating regulations and permits) This home does have a canoe and two kayaks for your use.

Summer weather in the area is great most of the time. Autumn brings plenty of visitors to the area for the extraordinary colors. They are even more beautiful when reflected on the lake.
